  • "After dinner on March 15, 2023, at Bessemer Chick-fil-, my 07 Ultra decided to spin the starter but not the motor. We were on our way from Texas back home to Pennsylvania. Roughly 1000 miles out. The next morni, ng after our first contact with Heart of Dixie Harley, which was close by, they gave us the feeling that everything would be alright. Once they knew where the bike was, Josh called and told me he was on his way to pick up the bike and when he would be there. Sure enough, he was there when he said he would be. Once we got to the dealership, we were treated as if we were the most important customers there. And since we were travelers,s we were given top priority so we could get back on the road. Once the problem was diagnosed, Matthew (apologies if I didn't getthe name right), the service writer gave me a price on what it would cost to get me back on the road. Turns outth inal price was better than that. All good. Everyone I talked to at Heart of Dixie was helpful, friendly, courteous, and every other good adjective I can think of.

    I was grateful that my bike broke down close enough to such a great dealership.

    The whole experience felt as if someone was watching over us.

    The employees at Heart of Dixie should be proud of the service they provide to Harley owners. Other businesses could learn a lot from them.

  • "In February 2024, I purchased my third motorcycle from Heart of Dixie. I was again impressed with the conscientious and professional customer support provided by Mike, George, and David. Since moving to Alabama, I am blessed to have HOD as my exclusive Harley-Davidson dealership. In addition, I recently had my 1000-mile service done by the HOD Award-winning staff and was completely satisfied with the fantastic service provided by Matt, Bobby, and Josh. My thanks and appreciation to the entire HOD Staff. It is well worth the 91 miles from Arab, AL. to get the kind of service and support from a trustworthy dealership. Thank you."

  • "I was riding up to Tennessee from Orlando. I had a rear tire blowout just south of the dealership and had my bike towed into Heart of Dixie HD. We arrived at the dealership 1 hour before closing, a nd the service guys jumped on the tow truck and moved my bike into the service area. This was no easy task; the rear tire was melted and destroyed. When you are traveling and need repair work, you never know how well you will be taken care of at different HDs. There was a tire sale going on, so I went ahead and bought front and rear tires. By the time my bike was finished, it was after closing time. I cannot say enough about the Heart of Dixie service department!! I could not wish for a better experience! Zack and Bryan knocked it out of the park! I highly recommend Heart of Dixie HD!!"

  • "I was traveling through AL, and my bike died on I-65 N. I called and talked with Zach. It was close to closing time, and I didn't expect anyone to be there. I had it towed to Heart of Dix, i.e., and when I got there, it was 7:05 pm. Zach and some other guys were still there. Zach got the bike off the truck and into the shop. When I came back the next morning at 10 am. It was fixed and ready to go. I can't say enough good things about the service department at Heart of Dixie HD."

  • "On a motorcycle ride/camping trip with several buddies this past week, when we stopped for breakfast at a well-known restaurant (CB) in Pelham, Al on the way home to Louisiana. When I went to leave the restaurant, my bike was completely dead. No previous battery problems, nothing left turned on, it just died, not even a clicking noise when trying to turn it on. Looked around and saw the wonderful HD sign high in the air, now even a block away. One of my buddies rode over to see if they had a jump box. Next thing I knew, a guy pulled up in a pickup truck and went to work on my bike. He attempted the jump start, but the battery was too far gone. He removed the battery, told me to jump in his truck, and drove me to the dealership. He informed me he was a mechanic/technician there, and that this was his personal truck, not a company vehicle. I went in and bought a new battery, and as I went to leave (planning to walk back to my bike), he re-emerged, told me to get back in the truck, drove me back to the bike, then reinstalled the battery and checked to ensure it started and that there were no other issues. He then refused to accept any compensation for his services (which I ignored) and went and put something on the seat of his truck while my friends were thanking him for his help. What a great dealership, and great employees, true bikers at heart (never leave a brother biker broke down on the side of the road alone). I can't thank them enough, just wish my memorywasn'tt so bad, so I could remember thguy'sys name and send him a more personal shout out."

  • "120 miles into a 1500-mile trip shifter linkage broke, and I limped it into Heart of Dixie Harley and was treated like family. Was fixed and back on the road in less than 45 minutes. What a great experience with the service department. Can't say enough good things about the dealership and the staff. Great people."

  • "I was traveling from Tennessee to my home in Florida. My clutch started acting up. It was working sometimes and not sometimes. I was able to limp into Heart of Dixie. They immediately took my bike inside and worked on it. They had me back on the road in less than an hour. A big thank you to the tech Matt Baker. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and explained the repair to me. Ive been in this HD before and they exemplify the spirit of southern hospitality."

  • "This dealer's shop is excellent. I have always been treated great. All the staff work very hard to fulfill my needs. I recently had a problem with a check engine light. The service department worked diligently and corrected the problem. I highly recommend Heatof Dixie for all your biker needs."

  • "I was looking for my second bike, but I really wasn't sure what I wanted. I thought I knew what I wanted, but after talking with Scrappy, he assured me the bike I wanted would really be too smal,l and wouldn'tnt be comfortable. Spent just over an hour talking with him, sitting on different bi,kes and discussing what I was looking for. He really listened and even though he gave his opinion, he wasn't just trying to make a sale. Even though I didn't think a Road Glide was what I was looking for because of its size, I ended up taking one for a test rid,e and now I have the bike of my dreams. A 2025 Road Glide in billiard gray."

  • "We went in to look for some accessories, and a pretty bike caught myhusband'ss eye. Soo,oo we traded in both our bikes for different bikes. Scrappy worked with throughoutout the entire process. There was no pressure. We left the dealership after the first visit to think it through. When we returned, I knew what I wanted, and my husband was still on the fence. He went with a used bik,e and again no pressure from Scrappy to push us towards the new bike. It is refreshing to work with a friendly staff that doesnt pressure you into something you end up regretting. Scrappy is a stand up dude!"
